Vegetable Tanned Handmade Leather Belt

This gorgeous handmade vegetable tanned leather belt is made of premium leather. It is a very pale pink/very light beige tone. It is unsealed and untreated.What is Vegetable Tanned Leather, you ask? It is a very light toned leather that has been tanned using tannin and other ingredients found in tree bark and other vegetable matter. Vegetable tanned leather can change in color or age quite dramatically depending on how its used and handled. It will evolve with you and your lifestyle. As this sort of leather is exposed through every day use to sun light,  natural oils such as the ones in leather conditioner or oils from your skin, and exposure to water, it will begin to darken and eventually develop a gorgeous patina. This color can range from a light golden brown to dark brown. This belt is 1 1/2' wide. Buckle and hardware is made of nickle.

This is a custom item and non-returnable. Will ship within two days after order receipt. We need two measurements from you which need to be entered in customer comments at checkout. First, please measure your favorite belt from where the leather begins at the buckle to the tail end.  And second, measure the point from where your favorite buckle hole is all the way to the tail (pointy) end of the belt. We make 5 buckle holes spaced an inch apart and we will take the measurement of your favorite hole and make that the middle hole of the 5 holes.
